Techniques to Combat Burn-out

Over the last few days I’ve been struggling to focus on anything including my 9-5 job, my business, or my book. That’s not to mention my family, friends and love life.

 

Somehow, the Energizer Bunny that had always been going inside me stopped working. My friends often marveled at how busy I was each day. That, coupled with my insane workload and the remarkable amount of pressure I place on myself led me to experience the dreaded word: burn-out.

 

My friends and family have constantly warned me against over extending myself and taking up too many projects.

Sometimes our JOBS demand so much from us… from 12 hours days... to taking work home to weekend office hours. This practice causes our health to suffer as we can’t exercise, relationships (you quickly become known as the friend or Gf who is always working) to the point that your friends no longer as you hang out cause you always have work to do or when you do go out are constantly glued to your phone. If you are guilty seek the Lord quickly for deliverance.

As young professionals our plates are always full trying to outperform our coworkers, running our side hustles, while trying to maintain these hot bodies in the gym.

With the finest DJ’s from all over the world & thousands of viewers watching Deejay Puffy massacred the competition walking away as the 2016 winner. What makes his story even more awesome is that he was a “Wild Card”, that’s right! He came in as an underdog and stole the competition and has gained thousands of fans and followers who are now eager to see where 2017 takes the twenty-five (25) year old Barbadian deejay.
