Now since I’ve been introduced to Power, I am beyond obsessed with the show, the plot and most importantly the characters.

By far Ghost is my absolute favorite –not just because of his body to die for and incredible swag but his work ethic.

Here are (5) Career Tips we could learn from James St. Patrick, “Mr. Ghost”.

1) Always be on Point

Whether it’s going to close a business deal at the club or going to handle “business” with Tommy, Ghost always seems to keep his dress game on point. Truth is when you look your best & you walk with such confidence it’s hard for people not to sit-up & take notice of you. Your attire adds the additional punch…try to be consistent as Ghost is with your dressing, you can’t be on point one day & pop down the other.

Doesn’t make sense.

2) Say only what needs to be said!

Many episodes I often wondered why he wouldn’t share information with his wife or his business partner, then I realized the more people you share your dreams with the more people would try to deter & pole holes in your plan.

Be like ghost execute in silence and let others see the plan unfold.

Actions beat words any day.

3) Have multiple streams of Income

James St. Patrick is known for many things from owning a chain of night clubs, laundromats and finally his street business. One thing we can take away that Tommy hasn’t quite understood is to never put all of your eggs in one basket.

Always have a side hustle or seek to diversity your income.

4) Family comes first!

Regardless of how far his hustle takes him family remained his #1 priority and motivation factor. Sometimes we allow ourselves to become too busy that we don’t have time for friends and family. Those are the people who have your back regardless.

5) Respect is Mutual

Although not running the streets like Tommy he is more feared and respected. That is because he respects his employees & everyone he comes into contact with. Sometimes we often forget that those some people we disrespect we may need on our way back down.
